My name is Melissa Elrod and I live in the southern metro area of Atlanta, Georgia. I have a true passion for capturing the world around me. Photography is such an awesome way to show someone how I view the world...capturing that one moment in time...
I am a Photographer who doesn’t tie herself down to one special field of Photography. Sharing my artistic form with so many has allowed me to meet some awesome people. Whether it be proud new parents of a tiny miracle, a senior on the cusp of something greater, or just kickin’ back with a group of brilliant musicians, it’s a brilliant road that I’m walking down.
I have experience with natural and studio light Photography and love working with both. I love finding new locations and odd places to shoot people. If it’s a location shoot or a session inside the comforts of your own home, I’m great with both.

I have 15+ years experience of photography. I have learned so much over the years and just enjoy the art of capturing memories for my clients.
I make it a point to learn more about each client and what they want. Everyone is unique and I try to make each session as individual as possible.
I have been lucky enough to have my work in juried art shows. I won an honorable mention at Arts Clayton in 2009. The next year I won Best In Show and a Jurors Award. It was a great honor to receive this recognition. My work was then shown in Arts Clayton's Gallery in May of 2011 in a show titled "Portraits of my Mind".
It is one special moment in time. Whether it be a new life, a senior moving on to the next step in their life, or a beautiful family filled with love, I would love to capture these moments for you.
